I am fortunate to have Mr Laing as my neurosurgeon as he is experienced, professional and at the top of his game. He will be performing a Lumbar Decompression Operation on my back in a few days and I have every faith that I will be in safe hands. The consultation with Mr Laing was an informative and calming process as he explained everything very carefully, showing me the results of my MRI scans. He understood my signs and symptoms and gave me confidence that this isn't an unusual procedure. Mr Laing has a kind and approachable manner and I would recommend him most highly. For information and positive comments, simply google him and you will be most impressed. People like this are worth their weight in gold.

My husband was referred to Mr Laing in 2019. We have now seen him twice and found him to be excellent. He listens, is very personable and friendly. He takes time to explain everything and is clear and honest about diagnosis and what to expect in the future. Although wishing my husband didn't need this specialist care, we both feel very fortunate that Mr Laing is the Neurosurgeon looking after us.

I cannot recommend Mr Laing highly enough. I recently had spinal decompression surgery and cannot believe the difference this has already made to my life. Originally, I contacted Mr Laing for a second opinion as to whether anything could be done for my long term symptoms, which had been affecting my daily life for many years. From start to finish he was reassuring, interested in all details of my problem and inspired total confidence. As a result, I had no hesitation in going forward with the surgery he proposed. Follow up care has been excellent too.

Mr Laing operated on me a few years back and showed great expertise and aftercare. He listened to me and helped me understand everything that was going on. He was clear and precise and I felt we had a good rapport. He has been precisely the person and surgeon I needed him to be. I had a follow up consultation with him this week, he was pleased to see my progress and it was good to see him again. If I needed a further operation I would have no concerns about his performing it again and have recommended him to a friend who I thought might benefit from his care.

Rodney Laing treated me for long-standing sciatica that involved a lumbar spine decompression operation. The procedure has been remarkably successful leaving me completely free from pain and with the fine scar with the faintest stitching that is less than 1 inch long. He was very thorough in his approach taking me through the various scan data that were available, explaining exactly what was needed. The procedure turned out to be somewhat more complicated than expected but was ultimately highly successful. I biggest regret was not having contacted him much earlier to get this done and save me many months, indeed years of growing disability.
